With a reputation for producing premium products, this dynamic FMCG organisation is experiencing considerable growth across all areas. To continue to keep their high standards during this growth period, they require the services of a hands-on maintenance manager to lead all maintenance activities across the site.
About the role
Reporting to the plant manager, this “hands on” role will see you lead a maintenance team of fitters and electricians to ensure plant reliability is kept to an optimum level.
Managing all aspects of the maintenance department including managing a multidisciplinary maintenance team
Provide the highest level of engineering and technical support to maintenance and production personnel
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and prepare capital requests to enhance overall performance of plant
The development and control of the site maintenance budget.
Develop KPIs and manage the maintenance team to achieve these key performance indicators
Skills and Experience
Minimum degree or trade qualification with a strong electrical or mechanical aptitude
Strong experience leading a maintenance team in a FMCG manufacturing environment
Demonstrated experience working in a Lean or Six Sigma environment
Understanding of site services
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to engage with production staff
