Entering an exciting period of growth, our client is currently on the lookout for an experienced and motivated powder coating line supervisor to oversee the complete operation of this semi-automated power coating line.
About the role
As the supervisor, your initial focus will be to deliver powder coating solutions and precision products for our clients. You will be a hands on "can do" team player, who will leave your mark in relation to the overall customer satisfaction, whilst meeting internal and external quality standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead, develop and inspire the powder coating team across production quality and engineering
Support all activities of the powder coating line to improve output, quality and performance ensuring all company procedures are followed.
Maintain, implement and monitor all continuous improvement initiative
Plan all works to be completed in accordance with best practice and most efficient way
Promote a safe working environment and safe work practices for the wellbeing of all production staff
Ensure staff are motivated, trained and contributing toward the ongoing volume and quality targets
Key Requirements
Minimum 2+ years of proven experience as a team leader/ supervisor of a powder coating line preferably in the automotive or general engineering manufacturing industry.
Experience in TPS and lean six-sigma
Excellent interpersonal skill and leadership capabilities
Specific expertise in quality control, health, safety and budgets
Proven ability to plan and prioritise responsibilities;
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and succinctly to a variety of audiences from Management to production teams, customers, and suppliers.
