About the role:
Due to the continued growth of the organisation we are seeking a suitably qualified Senior accountant within the organisations business services division. As a key member of the team, you will be communicating with clients daily, both in person and over the phone/email. As the Senior Accountant, you will provide leadership and expertise to junior members of the business.
Responsibilities:
Preparation and review of individual, company, trust, partnership tax returns and special purpose financial reports for a wide variety of clientele.
Provide advice on various taxation issues, including but not limited to taxation structuring and capital gains tax
Managing and reviewing workflow of junior staff member
Develop and maintain relationships with clients and external third parties.
Skills and experience
Degree qualified with a post graduate qualification as a Chartered Accountant or Certified Practicing Accountant.
5+ years’ experience in professional service in accounting, compliance, tax or business advisory
Excellent written communication skills,
Efficient time management skills,
Strong communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.
