National Sales Manager
About the business:
A well-established Australia owned brand, our client producers’ premium products to the food service channel. With an established clientele base and a range of new and innovative products they are currently seeking a proven National Sales Manager who can continue to drive the food service strategy across the Australian market.
About the role:
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead all areas of sales and customer’s service managing key relationships as well as identifying new business opportunities within food service. You will play a key role in growing the brand and have a direct impact in its continued success.
Key responsibilities
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet commercial targets and business objectives
Engage with key food service providers and end users to drive the brand and key product offerings
Perform research identifying new potential customers and new market opportunities
Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs
Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency
Keep abreast of new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board
Key requirements
5 + years sales experience in a similar role within the food/beverage industry
A track record of growing national accounts within foodservice
Experienced in managing a customer portfolio in competitive categories
Strong commercial acumen with a passion for building long term partnerships
Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills complemented by superior communication skills
