Senior Process Engineer

About the business

Entering an exciting period of growth, our client is currently on the lookout for an experienced, motivated, proactive and collaborative Process Engineer to assist with the planning and completion of a relocation activity project commencing in January 2020.

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Process Manager, we are seeking a high calibre individual that possess solid experience in the relocation of production processes, equipment, customer products and supporting information from the primary site to the newly develop secondary site.

Your primary focus will be to lead all areas of the project to ensure it is delivered on time, to budget and with safety as a priority;

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Analyse, capture and document all manufacturing process, product and equipment so as to mitigate any risks during relocation to secondary site.

  • Develop, maintain and execute a project plan in collaboration with the senior process manager ensuring all key milestones are met.

  • Establishing and monitoring the project budget;

  • Record all equipment, product, process data and risk analysis in a formal document register at primary site;

  • Coordination of internal and external consultants/contractors as required at primary and secondary sites;

  • Regular review of project key milestones, budget and timing with senior management.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of previous process engineering experience within the automotive or defence manufacturing industry, preferably welding, fabrication, part assembly and machining processes;

  • Ability to manage multiple consultants/contractors at one time to ensure project deadlines are met;

  • Proven ability to plan and prioritise responsibilities;

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project;

  • High attention to detail, thoroughness and accuracy with all project facets;

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and succinctly to a variety of audiences from Management to Site Teams, Contractors, Customers, and Suppliers.
